Compelling Reasons

People don’t buy something because we want them to, or because we make it easier/cheaper to buy it.

People buy something when you answer the all-important question:

“What’s in it for me?”

You may have the greatest of reasons to offer

“Drag and drop”
“Rounded corners”
“Customisation”
“Cheaper”
Etc

But none of them are compelling reasons.

“Lets you create an event schedule in minutes”
“Meet people you want to hire”
“Learn skills to advance your career”
“Develop soft skills that employers value highly”

are compelling reasons, and people will buy even at twice the price.

What compelling reason have you offered people to buy your product? And where is it documented?
